Memorial service for grieving families at Salford Royal hospital

Relatives whose loved ones have passed away at Salford Royal hospital are being invited to a special memorial service.

Each year, Salford Royal’s Chaplaincy organises A Time to Remember, a service for families who have lost a baby or young child.

Following a number of requests, a similar service has been organised in memory of adults who have died at Salford Royal.

Reverend Andrew Heslop, Trust Chaplain, said: “The My Forever Love service is designed to be inclusive and non-denominational. It is designed to give people opportunity and a safe space to reflect on their loved ones and their loss.

“It is an opportunity to be with others who are experiencing a similar journey, though each journey is unique.”

My Forever Love will be held on Sunday 1 November, at Salford Royal, Humphrey Booth Lecture Theatre, Mayo Building, from 2.30pm,all welcome, no booking required. For more information contact the Reverend Jennifer Hood, Lead Chaplain, on 0161 206 5167.
