Salford City FC have signed a five-year kit deal with sportswear giant Umbro.
Promoting today’s launch first-team stalwarts Dom Smalley, Danny Webber and Gareth Seddon show off the Salford City away, home and third kits.
Umbro describe Salford City, who topped the league last season to see promotion to the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division as “one of the most exciting up-and-coming clubs in England”.
“We’re excited to the working with Salford City, part of the heart and soul of local football in Umbro’s home heartland,” said the company in a release posted this morning.
Now the club will have all of its matchday and training wear supplied by Umbro until 2020.
The Moor Lane club are facing a record-breaking first round FA Cup match against Notts County, which will be covered live right here on SalfordOnline.com on Friday night.
It’s the first time the club has reached this stage of the competition in their 75-year history.
The second and final part of a documentary covering Salford’s rise under the ownership of the Class of 92 is set to screen on BBC One at 9pm on Thursday 5 November.
