Police are appealing for witnesses and any information after a man carrying a knife threatened staff at Farmfoods Eccles and stole cash.
At around 5.45pm on Friday 13 November a lone male, who had his face covered, walked into the Eccles town centre frozen food store and demanded money from the tills.
No-one was hurt in the incident but the female staff member on duty was left very shaken.
The offender is understood to have made off on foot down Church Street.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said no arrests had yet been made.
Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
