Tech and Tea

Tech and Tea is an older person (65 years and older) digital skills project which has been funded through the Salford Together Integrated Care Programme. The project will run for one year until October 2016 and has a key outcome of training 500 older people across Salford in digital skills.

The programme
The programme is delivered in an informal way over five weeks (2.5 hours per session) by qualified adult learning tutors. The technology used is both lap tops and tablets and these can be provided if the facility does not have the equipment. A mobile wifi server can also be provided if internet access is not available.

How do I get involved?
We are now looking to develop a programme of delivery from January 2016 – Sept 2016 and are looking for venues and older people both individuals and groups who may be interested in accessing this opportunity, room hire costs can be paid if this is a barrier. If you and/or your organisation are interested in a course being delivered then please complete the form below and return to office@inspiringcommunitiestogether.co.uk. If you would like further details about the course please contact Matt Bell on 01617433625.
