Police are investigating after a young woman was attacked, robbed and had her car stolen outside a Salford supermarket car park.
At around 4.45pm on Thursday 3 December the woman was sitting in the driver’s seat of her black Vauxhall Corsa on Bolton Road, near Aldi Irlams o’th Height, when two white men approached the car.
One stood in front of the vehicle to stop her driving away while another shouted at her to ‘Get out of the car’.
When she refused, one of the men pulled open the door and dragged her out of the car, leaving her on the roadside, before driving it away.
The terrified woman – who was not injured but was left very shaken and upset by the ordeal – ran into Aldi to call police.
The men are not thought to have been armed but were reported to laugh while they made threats of violence against the victim.
Its understood the thieves also stole money that the woman had drawn out of the bank, as well as her purse.
The car was later found dumped on Gladstone Road in Pendlebury.
Police are still investigating the circumstances and ask that anyone with any information call 101.
