A 23-year-old man was found dead by his landlord at a flat in Walkden, Bolton Coroner’s Court has heard.
Warehouse worker William Andrew Seymour – known to friends as Billy – was found at around 11.30am at the flat on Fereday Street on Friday 9 January 2015.
The Coroner’s Court heard that the last contact with the majority of his family was on New Year’s Day but he had regular contact with his brother Joe Seymour and friend Mitchell.
Billy had been working as a warehouse operative on Farnworth at the time of his death.
His brother Joe told the court that he last saw Billy on Tuesday 6 January and also spoke to him on the phone next day.
Coroner Alan Walsh was unable to be certain about the time of death, but it was believed to be the day he was found by his landlord.
Billy’s family requested that the exact cause of death was not published in SalfordOnline.com, but told the paper that he was well-loved by his close-knit group of family and friends.
