Missing: Bethany White, 15, from Salford

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the whereabouts of a missing girl from Salford.

Bethany White, 15, was last seen at the McDonalds on Deansgate, Bolton at around 3:30pm on Monday 4 January 2016.

Her phone was found on a footpath just off Minerva Road, Bolton the following morning by a member of the public.

Bethany is described as white, approximately 5ft 2in tall and of slim build with long dark curly hair. She was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt, black leggings, a black coat and white Nike trainers and she was carrying a lime green handbag.

It is believed that Bethany could be frequenting the Great Lever and Halliwell areas of Bolton or the Swinton, Hope or Lower Broughton areas of Salford.

Detective Sergeant Lucy Pearson said: “We are growing increasingly concerned about Bethany’s whereabouts, as are her parents.

“It is very unusual for her not to have her phone with her and the fact that it has been found obviously increases our concern quite significantly as we can’t make contact with her.

“If you know where she is or have seen her then please contact police.

“Bethany, if you see this appeal, please get in touch and let us know that you are safe.”

Anybody with information on Bethany’s whereabouts should contact police on 0161 856 5186 or 101. Alternatively please call the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
