A smash between three vehicles in Swinton this afternoon is still causing long delays for drivers.
Police were called to the junction of Station Road and the A666 Bolton Road at 3.27pm on Friday 15 January to reports of a crash between a C-Class Mercedes, a Renault Kangoo and a large Renault truck.
No-one has been reported seriously injured although a young boy in one of the cars was left very shaken by the accident.
The roads around the crash scene remain blocked, with queueing traffic between the A6 Chorley Road and the A666 Bolton Road.
SalfordOnline.com readers tell us that traffic is being redirected up Billy Lane from outside the Holy Rood nursery.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said no formal road closures were in place but traffic officers were managing the busy scene as best they could.
Drivers are being advised of delays up to 30 minutes to get past the accident site.
Update: As of 5.30pm on Friday evening, SalfordOnline.com readers report that Bolton Road has re-opened and traffic is now moving.
