A 20-year-old man has been jailed for six months after being caught on CCTV shoplifting from a Swinton supermarket for over a year.
Lee Broadhurst Williams 20, from Wordsworth Road, Swinton was found to be behind multiple thefts from the Swinton branch of ASDA dating back to early 2014.
He appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Thursday 2 April charged with theft.
The court heard that officers had studied CCTV footage which implicated Williams.
He has now been sentenced to 24 weeks in prison.
