A man has tragically died in hospital after being found stabbed in Salford.
Three people were arrested on suspicion of murder but have now been released on bail after questioning by detectives.
Police were called to a house on Monsal Avenue, off Littleton Road, at around 8.30pm on Friday 22 January.
23-year-old Jarad Corkovic was found with a stab wound to his chest.
He was taken to hospital where he sadly died of his injuries.
His next of kin have been informed.
He was not formally identified by police but was named locally and this has been confirmed by family.
Shocked friends and relatives paid tribute to the popular young man on social media.
In a statement a spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: “Shortly before 8.30pm on Friday 22 January police were called to reports that a man had suffered stab wounds at an address on Monsal Avenue in Salford.
“A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital but sadly died of his injuries.
“Three women were arrested on suspcion of murder.
“After questioning they were bailed until 22nd February pending further enquiries.”
No further arrests have been made and police say they are still investigating the circumstances.
