SalfordOnline.com have chosen a winner for the pair of tickets to Manchester City’s Capital One cup semi-final second leg against Everton in Manchester tonight.
Stephen Williams, 34, will be taking five-year-old son Matthew to the Etihad Stadium for one of his boy’s first ever City matches.
He replied correctly to our question – what was Manchester City’s highest ever attendance? The answer of course was 84,569, in a 1934 cup replay at Maine Road.
Win: Pair of tickets for Manchester City vs Everton
Stephen, who lives in Salford and works at the council in the contact centre, told us: “We’re absolutely delighted to have won.
“My family are all United fans, I’m the odd one out so yeah, I do get a lot of stick for that.
“Matthew’s been asking to go back since we saw City beat Southampton 3-1 last month, so this has just come at the perfect time.
“Hopefully we’ll win 3-0, but they never do it the easy way do they?”
Stephen’s promised to take pictures at the match tonight to post in the 15,500-member SalfordOnline Facebook group.
