Four people have been arrested after reports a 27-year-old woman was subjected to a gang rape by three men at a block of flats in Salford.
The assault is reported to have taken place inside a second floor flat at around 1am on Saturday 18 April at the CityLink apartments on Hessel Street in Weaste.
One resident told SalfordOnline.com they were woken late by officers carrying out door-to-door enquiries.
The apartment was cordoned off and forensics teams arrived on Saturday afternoon to comb the scene for evidence.
Three men aged 26, 25 and 22 have been arrested on suspicion of rape and have now been bailed pending further inquiries.
A woman aged 20 has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit rape and has also been bailed.
Enquiries are ongoing.
