Drivers are reporting faulty traffic lights at the junction of the A666 Bolton Road and A6044 Agecroft Road in Pendlebury.
Traffic is backing up and there is the potential for an accident as drivers negotiate the busy junction near the Henry Boddington pub.
It is a busy commuter cut through between the East Lancs Road and the Prestwich/Whitefield areas, and busy of a morning due to the proximity of Agecroft business park.
