>GMP are warning that there have been several reports from the Walkden area that a man has been knocking on at several addresses, and several times, asking for spare gold jewellery as he is setting up his own business.
He has been quite persistent about coming into addresses to give a quote, and then if turned down he has given other reasons to enter.
The male is described as a white male in his 40s, had a medium build, average height, had short light brown hair, and spoke with a local accent.
He was wearing a black bomber jacket, and carrying a laptop size bag with scales and leaflets inside.
