Fire crews were called to Walkden on Friday afternoon to reports of a large and spreading fire on Hopefold Drive.
Two crews from Agecroft and Farnworth arrived at the small residential street at 3.20pm on Friday.

They found a fence fire in the back garden of a house had spread to two garages on the street.
Firefighters used a hose reel to tackle the flames and make the scene safe.
One passerby who sent a picture to SalfordOnline.com was relieved to hear there were no injuries reported.
