Morson Group recognise exceptional achievers

Over 50 Morson Group employees were recognised during a Learning and Development Celebration Event after completing a range of training courses and obtaining a host of qualifications.

The event was an opportunity for employees to celebrate their hard work and commitment to their professional development. The courses completed included Certificate in Project Management, Award in Education and Training, HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, a Professional Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Emergency First Aid.

Orlagh Bibby, Marketing Manager at Morson Group, has recently completed the Professional Diploma in Marketing qualification and believes the opportunity to complete the course has provided her with the knowledge and confidence to work at a higher strategic business level.

The qualification also means that Orlagh is now working at chartered marketing status, the highest professional level in her field.

Orlagh said: “Morson were fantastic in helping me to achieve my qualification. Although I choose to study through night classes, they were flexible in allowing me time out of work to study and sit exams.

They also supported me in terms of giving me the freedom and opportunity to implement new ideas from my learning. I’m truly grateful for their investment in me.”

Morson encourages the learning and training of all employees and is dedicated to creating opportunities for those who are interested in completing qualifications ranging from apprenticeships to higher education.

Ged Mason, CEO of Morson Group, commented: “The Celebration of Learning Event is an opportunity to celebrate the outstanding achievements of all those who have completed training or qualifications at Morson. The company is committed to supporting all employees with their career progression and I would like to congratulate all our achievers.”

Lisa Garner, Head of Talent at Morson Group, added: “We are extremely proud of all of our employee’s achievements and the hard work that they have put in to gain their qualifications in 2015. Morson are eager to ensure that all employees have access to the learning needed to help them to be the best that they can be at their job and to help them feel valued.”
