Two local groups are organising litter picks to get the whole area of Boothstown and Mosley Common cleaned up this Saturday 5 March.
Starting at 10 am Boothstown Residents Association are meeting outside 59 Leigh Road, opposite Shuffs Dress Shop.
Association secretary Sue will be providing as litter pickers and black bags, and is hoping to see as many volunteers as possible.

Mosley Common In Bloom will be cleaning up Mosley Common at the same time, meeting at the Green on the corner of Bridgewater Road.
Chair of the group Maxine will be looking forward to meeting volunteers she will also be providing litter pickers and black bags.
The organisers of both these litter picks are looking forward to meeting many volunteers who take a pride in their villages.
At 12 30 Mosley Common In Bloom will also be planting a tree in celebration of our longest reigning monarch’s 90th birthday.
The Mayor of Wigan will be doing the tree planting after the litter pick, and tea and cake will be served.
