Police in the West Midlands have released an urgent appeal across the country to try to find a vulnerable man missing from a secure unit.
Officers say James Pinsent should not be approached by the general public but police should be informaed immediately if he is seen.
He is believed to be using taxis and trains to travel around the UK
Video of the missing man was released to the media this afternoon.
Officers now believe that James may be trying to leave the country and are appealing to anyone who has seen him to call the police as a matter of urgency.
Inspector Chris Smith, from West Midlands Police, said: “The images show that James has changed his appearance and we believe that this may be to avoid being recognised.
“We are increasingly worried about his safety and his whereabouts.
“He is described as white, 6ft 2ins, clean shaven and wearing an olive jacket, beige jumper and jeans.
“He is carrying two large black duffle bags and is likely to be using trains and taxis as a mode of transport. We ask that no-one approaches James directly and to call 999 if they think they see him.”
Anyone with information is urged to call the police immediately by dialling 999. Alternatively people can leave information anonymously by contacting Missing People charity on 116 000.
