Police in Little Hulton are warning residents to be aware of fake Postcode Lottery letters that are currently circulating in the area telling you that you have won large amounts of cash.
These letters may be addressed to you personally but are asking you to pay a fee to release your winnings.
No genuine lottery company will ask for any payments.
The police recommend that disregard these letters should you receive them and if you have any further concerns please ring them on 101.
