MediaCityUk’s communications manager Lisa Wood is moving to Toast PR as associate director after eight years with the Peel-owned media and tech hub.
At Toast she will manage PR accounts within the media, property and business sectors in the North West.
Based in Manchester, with offices in Leeds and London, Wood’s appointment takes the team to 15 staff.

Julia Mitchell, managing director at Toast PR, says: “I am personally delighted to have Lisa on board, assisting me at a senior level at Toast.
“Lisa comes with the knowledge, contacts, experience and reputation that I know will propel us even further.”
Lisa’s role at MediaCityUK saw her work on the BBC moving five departments and thousands of people to Salford, as well as the re-location of ITV and the new set construction of Coronation Street.
She has also managed high profile events and celebrity visits – including hosting the Queen for the official opening of MediaCityUK in 2012.

“I have had an amazing time at MediaCityUK, but I am ready for a new challenge and eager to get involved with all aspects of the business.”
Lisa sits on the board of the MPA and has previously worked for Lime Pictures on Hollyoaks and Grange Hill, Cosgrove Hall and North West Vision (now Creative England).
