Three fire crews were called to extinguish a kitchen fire in Eccles on Sunday.
At 3.50pm on 28 June crews from Eccles and Agecroft arrived at a house on Scott Avenue to find an electric cooker in a kitchen on fire.
Firefighters spent over half an hour putting out the blaze and isolating the gas and electric supply to prevent the spread of the fire.
There were no casualties.
