Sale Sharks have announce their sponsorship of 7 Leagues from the North West Intermediate Rugby Union Leagues (NWIRUL) for the season 2016-17
The North West Intermediate Leagues were started with 13 sides in season 2002-03 after a meeting at Vale of Lune RUFC, the following season a league set up was formed with 10 Leagues, now entering its 14th year of competition with 14 leagues providing Rugby on a Saturday to Saturday basis for over 3,000 players
