Police forced entry to a flat in Salford and found the body of a pensioner.
Officers were called to Cherry Tree Court off Churchill Way on Salford precinct at 11am on Tuesday 30 June after a resident called police concerned for the welfare of the man.
Inside the flat they found the body of a 66-year-old man.
There are no suspicious circumstances and the man’s next of kin have been informed.
The file has now been passed to the Coroner’s Office.
