Drivers are being diverted around the Trafford Centre this afternoon after a two-car crash forced a road closure.
At around 3.30pm today, Thursday 2 July, police closed Redclyffe Road in Trafford Park in both directions between Ellesmere Circle and the A5181 Park Road junction.
No-one was reported seriously injured in the accident.
Traffic is unable to turn left onto Barton Dock Road toward Eccles, so all cars are being turned back towards the M60 Junction 10.
Congestion is starting to form on the M60 with slow traffic between the M60 Junction 9 and Junction 12 for the M602/M62 interchange.
Drivers are being warned of delays which are expected to continue into tonight’s rush hour.
