A series of mysterious posters bearing the phrase ‘What is this?’ have appeared in Eccles town centre.
Consisting only of a large white question mark on a black background with the words ‘What is this’ written above, around 20 of the placards have been tied to lamposts at the Pay and Display car parks at Morrisons supermarket and Fit City Eccles, on College Croft and Church Street.
Is it a guerilla marketing campaign? A disgruntled local complaining about parking charges? A warning that CCTV camers are installed nearby? Or perhaps something more innocent?
SalfordOnline.com was told that two men were seen fixing these posters up over the weekend at various locations in Eccles.
Have they spread as far as Salford or Manchester?
