Cleveland Police are urgently appealing for information to find Emily Wicking who is missing from the Eston area of Middlesbrough.
Officers believe that Emily may have met a man through the internet and may have left home to meet with this person.
Emily was last seen at around 4pm yesterday in Eston and has not been seen since – it is highly unusual for her to go missing and police are concerned for her whereabouts.
She as slim build, 5ft 8 inches tall, with light brown shoulder length hair. She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, blue jeans, and a body warmer with fur around the hood.
Officers are making a direct appeal to Emily to get in contact with them, friends or family to let people know she is safe and well.
They are also appealing to local business owners or workers, such as hotels, bars and bed and breakfast accommodation to come forward with any information on Emily’s whereabouts.
Anyone who may have seen Emily is asked to call police on 999.
