Army v RAF Rugby League at Salford this Sunday


Sunday 13th September 2015 sees the Army take on the RAF in the annual Inter Services Rugby League Challenge.

The fixture is to be hosted at the home of Superleague’s Salford Red Devils, The AJ Bell Stadium, Stadium Way, Salford, M30 7LJ.

There will be THREE games taking place; first up at 13:00 the young guns of the Army and RAF Academies will go head to head. (The Academy’s game will be played just outside of the main stadium on the Stadium’s community pitch.)

At 2:45 we turn up the heat and head into the AJ Bell Stadium itself as the 1st XIII Teams go into battle. Pace, Power and Passion … nothing but 100% commitment from all … a sight not to be missed!

But that’s not all! Following on from the 1st XIII game at 5:00 the Salford Red Devils are in action in the Rugby League ‘Super 8 Qualifiers.

The Red Devils are up against the giant killers from South Yorkshire, The Sheffield Eagles. The ‘Eagles are a VERY dangerous side and their third place finish in the ‘Championship was very well deserved. The game is all set to be a momentous one as the men from the steel city make the short journey across the Pennines to Salford and battle it out for their place in the 2016 Super League, the day may very well be the Red Devils’ promotion/relegation decider… let battle commence!

And all this for just £5:00! Yes that’s right FIVE POUNDS!
