A four-year-old boy has been injured this morning after being knocked out of his buggy in Lower Broughton, Salford.
Police were called to the junction on Lower Broughton Road and Heath Avenue at 8.38am today, Monday 14 September.
They found the driver of a white Volkswagen Polo had come around the corner and clipped the pram, sending the child sprawling into the road.
The boy’s father was there on the scene, near River View Primary School, and was left extremely distressed by the incident.
The child suffered cuts and bruises but was conscious and breathing, and was taken to hospital for a further check-up. Investigators are now waiting on the hospital for updates.
No arrests have been made.
Police are studying CCTV and are asking anyone with any information to call 101.
