Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a man wanted for rape.
Mian Farooqnadeem 37, is wanted for an incident of rape that took place on Derby Street, Cheetham on 7 June 2001.
Farooqnadeem is known to have links to the Cheetham Hill and Longsight areas of Greater Manchester.
Anybody with information on Mian Farooqnadeem’s whereabouts should contact police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
