Morson Group raises over £55,000 for 2015 Charities

Morson Group broke company records after raising an outstanding £55,000 for their 2015 chosen charities following impressive fundraising initiatives from employees.

Representatives from the UK’s leading dementia research charity, Alzheimer’s Research UK, and Kent based charity, Tree of Hope, attended a cheque presentation ceremony at Morson’s Head Office in Salford, Manchester. Both charities were overwhelmed with the donations and will each share the overall figure fundraised.

A range of fundraising activities took place throughout 2015 and encouraged employees to take part in a three-day bike ride from Bristol to Manchester, the Mary Towneley Loop, which involved a 47-mile circular route along the borders of Lancashire and Yorkshire, as well as a 10k run. Other fundraising events included cake sales, a family fun day, raffles and dress down days.
