Over 1,100 homes in Broughton and central Salford are offline today after another powercut.
Electricity North West said engineers are currently on site, working to repair the problem, which is understood to be related to an underground cable fault.
The power went off at 1.45pm, said a spokesperson for the authority.
The streets affected include areas around Upper Camp Street, Teneriffe Street, Rugby Street, Grove Street and Pegwell Drive.
Businesses are also reporting electricity supply problems in the M3 area around the Lowry Hotel and Chapel Street.
1,147 homes are reported to be affected.
Normal services are expected to be in place by 3.30pm.
Around 100 homes in the M5 area also saw their power supply disrupted at around 11am this morning.

It’s the latest in a series of power cuts in Salford.
Last month 60 homes and businesses in Ordsall went offline in the early hours and engineers had to be drafted in to dig up the road in order to find a fix.
Two days later over 850 homes were affected by power “blips” in Swinton, Clifton and Pendlebury caused by an underground cable fault.
In January St Ambrose Barlow school had to close for a day when 2,000 homes and businesses in the Wardley area were hit by an overnight power cut.
The largest power outage in recent memory happened across Pendleton, Salford Quays and Chapel Street in November 2015 when almost 20,000 properties suffered a stuttering power supply.
