Power cut hits homes in Brindle Heath

Homes in Brindle Heath, Salford, were affected by a power cut this afternoon, Monday 10 August.

The power went off in 13 homes, and on a nearby building site where the former Duchy Inn is being redeveloped into new homes.

Electricity North West confirmed the cause of the power cut was an underground cable fault at approximately 2.15pm.

Streets affected include Cobden Street, Binder Close and Brindle Close.

A spokesperson for the authority said: “Engineers are en route and will work to get the power back on as quickly as possible. If any customers would like any further information they can contact us on 0800 195 4141 or follow @ElectricityNW.”
