One lane of the M60 clockwise between Junctions 9 and 10 has been closed after a four-vehicle accident.
The collision is thought to have occurred at around 11am on Wednesday 14 October.
Three lorries and a car were involved in the accident, said police.
No serious injuries have been reported.
Highways England North West have announced that there are currently 15 minute delays around the crash site.
Traffic is expected to return to regular conditions at around 1.15pm.
