City West wins Keep Britain Tidy Award for work in Eccles


City West has been awarded with a platinum Award from Keep Britain Tidy for the support and partnership working in the Westwood and Alder Park neighbourhood in Eccles.

At Keep Britain Tidy’s annual Network Awards Ceremony, which was held in Birmingham last Wednesday, City West collected the platinum Neighbourhood Award for their support in the community through customer training, budgeting advice and entrepreneur workshops.

The Westwood and Alder Park neighbourhood was recognised for being one of the cleanest, safest and greenest neighbourhoods.

The Neighbourhood Award showed City West’s commitment to providing the highest level of service and a dedication to maintaining these standards to customers and partners.

The Keep Britain Tidy Neighbourhood Award is a nationally-recognised achievement which tells communities, businesses and stakeholders that the holders of this award are one of the very best in the sector.

Allison Ogden-Newton, Chief Executive of Keep Britain Tidy, said: “Well done to City West Housing Trust for winning the Keep Britain Tidy Network Neighbourhood Award.
