Officers tackling organised crime in Salford say they recovered cannabis worth £80,000 in a enormous drug factory in Weaste.
Police were backed by Salford City Council housing officers as they raided the house on Weaste Lane in the early hours of Wednesday 9 March.
They discovered a sophisticated set-up for producing large amounts of skunk cannabis, spread over three floors.
Greater Manchester Police said the drugs seized were worth in the region of £80,000 to £100,000.
No-one was in the property at the time and no arrests were made, said police.
Forensics officers had to spend hours packing the drugs into evidence bags and removing them to be destroyed.
The raids were carried out under the banner of Project Gulf, a multi-agency operation set up to disrupt violent drug gangs in Salford.
