Police continue search for Kenneth Davies

Police are continuing to look for a man nearly three weeks after he went missing from Salford.

61-year-old Kenneth Davies is believed to have travelled to the Aberdare area of South Wales on Friday 12 June 2015.

Enquiries have established that Kenneth called into a shop in Irlam, Salford at around 11am that day.  During this time, Kenneth explained that he had to leave ‘unexpectedly’ but did not say why this was the case nor where he was going to.

It is believed he then travelled to the Aberdare area in a silver Vauxhall Corsa.

Kenneth is described as being white, of medium build, has short grey hair and is 5ft 8in tall. It is believed he was wearing a red t-shirt and jeans.

Detective Inspector Ben Hart said: “At this moment in time, we still do not know where Kenneth is.   Detectives in Manchester and South Wales have been reviewing his lifestyle and wider friendship circles given the unusual circumstances of his sudden disappearance but unfortunately we have not been able to find him.

“We know Kenneth previously worked for the Co-op and Eddie Stobart as a driver and I would appeal to any friends, associates or past colleagues that have seen or spoken to him in 2015 to contact police.

“We believe the last sighting of Kenneth was in South Wales at approximately 8.15pm on Friday the 12 June.  His disappearance is unusual and I would ask anyone who may have seen him to call us as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact South Wales Police on 101 (reference 1500212657) or Greater Manchester Police on 0161 856 5097 / 856 5345.
