A woman was attacked by two men as she left a bookmakers with the morning’s takings.
Police were called to Coral on Bolton Road in Walkden at 2.20pm today, Monday 5 October.
Two men, who had their faces covered, approached the woman on Bolton Road.
One grabbed and held on to her while the other stole the money before fleeing down the street.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing two men leaving the scene in a silver car.

The woman was not physically harmed but was left in a state of shock by the assault, and is now in hospital as a precaution.
A more detailed description of the offenders is expected to be released tomorrow morning.
